**Job Summary**:
The 1st Commis Chef - Chinese Cuisine is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Chinese dishes under the guidance of senior chefs. This role demands efficiency, consistency, and adherence to hygiene and safety standards, ensuring guests enjoy authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a wide variety of Chinese dishes (e.g., stir-fry, dim sum, noodles, soups).
- Follow standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure mise-en-place is complete before service begins.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstation.
- Assist in receiving and properly storing ingredients and supplies.
- Work closely with Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to maintain food quality and consistency.
- Monitor food waste and contribute to cost control.
- Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen, specializing in Chinese cuisine.
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification preferred.
- Sound knowledge of traditional and modern Chinese cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knife skills and wok handling expertise.
- Experience in bulk cooking or banquets (if applicable).
- Familiarity with different regional Chinese cuisines (Szechuan, Cantonese, etc.).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
