**Job Description** SUMMARY**

The 'Velocity, Variety, and Volume' of Big Data are the driving forces behind Expeditors' global logistics operations, as we move freight across the world daily. We offer an exciting opportunity to join our Enterprise Data and Analytics (ED&A) team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and reliability of this massive data landscape. You'll be instrumental in building a robust data lake environment and supporting users by guaranteeing flawless data ingestion, analysis, and visualization. You'll collaborate with highly skilled software development engineers, working with Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and Event Sourcing. The ED&A team is highly collaborative and communicative internally, within the IS department, and throughout the company as a whole. Excellent communication and customer service are always priority one.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Performing upgrades, maintenance and implementing system modifications in our cloud platform.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures for platform administration.
- Review and maintain documentation for users and administrators.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting skills in Azure Fabric platform and to resolve issues.
- Review and evaluate tasks based on priority and set clear deadlines to instill a sense of urgency.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
- Support users during change control and system updates.

**Qualifications** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in managing Azure Cloud and/or AWS Cloud.
- Experience with networking and security configurations, data access control/security models, EntraID and firewalls.
- Experience in automation tools and CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment and management of HA/DR solutions.
- Experience in capacity planning, cloud cost analysis and cloud resources optimization.
- Manage various Azure data pipelines, job schedules and systems to ensure performance and uptime.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Good to have knowledge in Logistics domain.
- Knowledge in Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure Data Factory, and Data Warehouse (Synapse).
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other code repository tools is a plus.
- Experience with Azure Data Fabric workspaces/domains, tenant-wide settings, capacities, and user roles.
- Azure certifications (data related)
