About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Hybrid Cloud Administrator to manage and support both on-premises infrastructure and public cloud environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and scalability of hybrid systems, enabling seamless operation across data centers and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain hybrid cloud environments, including both on-premises systems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Manage cloud resource provisioning, networking, storage, and compute services in alignment with operational requirements.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations across hybrid environments.
  • Automate routine system administration tasks using scripting or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Implement security, compliance, and governance policies across both on-prem and cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis, and optimize infrastructure usage.
  • Support virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and integrate with cloud systems.
  • Maintain backups, patches, and software updates across the hybrid infrastructure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as AWS SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Azure Administrator, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience with hybrid tools like Azure Arc, AWS Outposts, or GCP Anthos.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Nagios, Prometheus).
  • Exposure to storage and backup technologies (NetApp, Veeam, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
