**Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Multi-Chain Restaurant Company. The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our restaurant facilities, including equipment, machinery, and physical infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, electrical system inspections, and equipment servicing.
- Conduct regular inspections of restaurant facilities to identify any issues or potential hazards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant staff and management.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with external vendors when necessary.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment servicing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related issues and support operational goals.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management, preferably in the restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
