
Sales Representative

**Position Summary**:
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients, building relationships, and selling travel and leisure services to both individuals and businesses. The role requires a deep understanding of the travel industry, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities. This person will represent the agency in the field, meeting with potential clients, travel coordinators, and corporate accounts to generate leads and secure bookings.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Lead Generation and Prospecting**:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and field visits.
- Proactively seek out potential clients such as corporate groups, travel coordinators, schools, and individuals interested in leisure travel.
- Attend trade shows, travel expos, and industry events to build relationships and promote the agency’s services.
- **Sales Presentations and Client Meetings**:
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to present the agency’s travel packages, corporate travel solutions, and leisure offerings.
- Provide detailed information on travel itineraries, pricing, and custom solutions based on client needs.
- Tailor travel services and packages to suit the needs of corporate clients, group bookings, and leisure travelers.
- **Building and Maintaining Client Relationships**:
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their travel preferences and providing personalized service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to booking and follow-up.
- Follow up regularly with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- **Achieving Sales Targets**:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by actively promoting and selling the agency’s travel and leisure services.
- Track and report sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics to the Sales Manager.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue on bookings.
- **Market Research and Competitor Analysis**:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends, destinations, and offerings within the industry.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in the market and refine sales strategies.
- Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer preferences, service enhancements, and potential business opportunities.
- **Negotiation and Closing Sales**:
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients to secure deals while ensuring profitability for the agency.
- Effectively close sales by addressing client objections, providing solutions, and offering incentives.
- Handle any sales-related issues or disputes with professionalism and tact.
- **Client Support and Follow-Up**:
- Assist clients with post-sale support, including booking modifications, travel documentation, and itinerary adjustments.
- Provide travel tips, recommendations, and guidance to ensure a positive travel experience.
- Gather client feedback and implement service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
**Experience**:
- 2+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the travel, leisure, or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of travel products, services, and destination knowledge.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
