
Sales Representative

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- **Sales Generation**: Drive sales of FMCG products by building relationships with new and existing clients, including retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. Actively seek out opportunities for sales growth.
- **Product Knowledge**: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the FMCG products we distribute, including features, benefits, and market trends. Communicate this knowledge effectively to customers.
- **Customer Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail customers and key accounts. Provide excellent customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- **Achieving Sales Targets**: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Track sales performance and report regularly to the management team on progress.
- **Market Expansion**: Identify new business opportunities and customers in untapped markets or regions, helping to expand the brand’s reach and market share.
- **Product Placement & Merchandising**: Ensure that products are effectively displayed in retail outlets and help improve shelf placement to maximize visibility and sales.
- **Sales Support & Promotion**: Promote sales campaigns, new product launches, and other initiatives to encourage customer purchases. Provide customers with promotional materials and support as needed.
- **Stock Management**: Monitor inventory levels at customer locations, work with the warehouse or supply chain teams to ensure timely product replenishment, and prevent stockouts.
- **Market Intelligence**: Stay informed about competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs to provide valuable feedback to the sales and marketing teams.
- **Sales Reporting**: Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to the management team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- In-depth understanding of the FMCG market and distribution channels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and sales opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and business development.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and order processing.
- Familiarity with CRM software or sales reporting tools is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a variety of FMCG products, such as food, beverages, personal care, or household goods.
- Knowledge of local market trends and customer preferences.
- A network of established relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and other key distributors.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently within the designated region.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
