Company Borkar Polymers Position : Government Tender Executive Qualification : Graduate in any Stream Experience: 5 years & above experience in tenders Gender Male/Female Job Location: Vasai East Department: Sales Office Timing 10Am - 6.30Pm Salary Negotiable a. To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications; b. To organize and harness the efforts of all involved departments relating to tendering/bidding activities and contract review; c. To coordinate customer’s bid requirements within the various departments such as planning, QA/QC, Engineering, Production, etc., collate and compile all queries and requests for additional information for communication to customers. d. To vet through incoming tenders and to note down tender due date, project start and end date, tender submission instructions/requirement and mode of submission; e. To collate tender information and references from various sources such as online search engines, industry and market intelligence data etc., which are needed for submission; f. To monitor and ensure that tender submission due dates are strictly adhered to, including the checking, bidding, packing and preparation of outgoing submissions; g. To ensure that tender submissions are standardized in terms of format, font, logo, etc. and in line with customer’s tender requirements. h. Preparation and submission of E-Tenders in GeM, i. Prepare and submit the pre-qualification package, bids and tenders within the given timeframe. j. Compile and maintain the tender working files, brochures, write-up and related correspondence documents in timely manner to ensure up-to-date record of the tender information for effective tendering / bids. k. Analyses and review the tender / contract requirements, obligations, provisions, terms and conditions to ensure the compliance of the business to the relevant laws, regulations, corporate policies and business units’ procedures at all times. l. Assemble and maintain documentation relating to the tendering process, including management approval relating to tendering and contracting m. Monitor the expiry of tender / contract in order to alert the business unit to confront the client promptly in ensuring the sustainability of the business tenders. n. Registration on e-portals and uploading tenders on the respective Tender sites o. Work closely with the management in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercially viable tenders and contracts. p. Analysis and Comparison of Competitor quotation pricing strategy. q. Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager. **Skills**:Ability to work as part of a highly motivated team. Proactive with a high sense of initiative and can work independently. Excellent computer skills. Able to work under pressure. Willing to travel for negotiation/ operational meetings with internal or external stakeholders. Resourceful and experienced in completing the tender exercise, including the terms of business in the contract. Fluent in English (oral & written) with excellent report writing skills. Possess effective negotiation and communication skills with strong financial and analytical background.
