**Job Title**: Commis 1 - Continental Section

**Location**: Tavaasa Cafe, Dehradun

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of continental dishes, including pastas, pizzas, grilled items, and classic European fare.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to Tavaasa Cafe's quality standards.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, and work collaboratively with the team.
- Manage mise en place efficiently and ensure timely service during operations.
- Assist in inventory management and proper storage of food items.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a continental kitchen.
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and recipes.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
