Job Description: Pre-Sales Executive
Position Title: Pre-Sales Executive
Reports To: Sales Manager / CEO
Job Summary:
The Pre-Sales Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the sales process by providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and solutions to potential clients. They work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs, demonstrate product features, create proposals, and assist in the overall sales strategy to secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement & Needs Analysis:
Engage with prospective clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and challenges. Conduct needs assessments and work with the sales team to propose tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Deliver high-quality product demonstrations and presentations to prospects and clients, showcasing product features, benefits, and value propositions. Customize presentations to address the unique needs of each client.
Solution Design & Proposal Creation: Work with the technical team to design and develop customized solutions based on client specifications. Prepare and present technical proposals, including product specifications, timelines, and pricing.
Respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Technical Support: Provide technical assistance during the sales cycle, addressing client queries regarding the product's functionality, architecture, and integration. Assist the sales team in overcoming technical objections and concerns during client discussions.
Collaboration with Sales Team: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between the client’s requirements and the proposed solution. Act as a technical advisor and provide input during pricing discussions and contract negotiations.
Market & Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor products. Keep up to date with product developments, enhancements, and new features.
Sales Support & Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining sales collateral, including product datasheets, presentations, and case studies. Support the sales team with closing strategies and ensure smooth handover of information from pre-sales to post-sales teams.
Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective client organizations. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and ongoing support during the pre-sales phase.
Key Skills & Qualifications: 12+
Educational Background: Any Educational Background Preferred
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a pre-sales
Prior experience in sales
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the company’s products and services, including their technical features and benefits.Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, client-friendly terms.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Languages Preferred: English, Hindi and Marathi
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Sales Acumen: Ability to assess and address client needs effectively, with a focus on achieving sales objectives. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically to solve client problems with customized solutions.
Personal Attributes: Proactive & Self-Motivated: Ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating with teams.
Team Player: Comfortable working as part of a team to achieve common goals. Customer-Centric: Focused on delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and building long-term relationships.
