The Role

There are two halves to this role: First, contributing to current projects where you analyze problems and tech issues, offer solutions, and test, modify, automate, and integrate systems. And second, long-range strategic planning of IT infrastructure and operational execution. This role isn’t specific to any one platform, so you’ll need a good feel for all of them. And because of this, you’ll experience variety and growth at Kyndryl that you won’t find anywhere else.

You’ll be involved early to offer solutions, help decide whether something can be done, and identify the technical and timeline risks up front. This means dealing with both client expectations and internal challenges - in other words, there are plenty of opportunities to make a difference, and a lot of people will witness your contributions. Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage end-user computing solutions, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Jamf Azure AD, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Azure Virtual Desktop and W365).
- Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and security of the end-user computing environment, using tools such as End Point Privilege Management, Splunk, Crowdstrike and Aternity.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for end-user computing services, such as installation guides, configuration standards, and best practices.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in end-user computing, and recommend solutions that align with the organization's goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the integration and compatibility of end-user computing solutions with other IT systems and services.
- Train and mentor end-user computing staff and end-users on the proper use and maintenance of end-user computing solutions.
- Manage and update both the demand and inventory, licensing, and asset management of end-user computing devices and software.
- Participate in end-user computing projects and initiatives, such as migrations, upgrades, deployments, and testing.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-user computing issues, such as hardware, software, network, and security problems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.- Experience in end-user computing engineering, administration, or support.- Strong knowledge and skills in Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, jamf, End-point privilege management and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. - Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell, VBScript, Batch, shell, zshell or JavaScript.- In depth knowledge of Amazon cloud hosting architecture with experience with AWS and Azure is a bonus- Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities- Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models- Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high
