Role – O365 administrator
- Monitoring usage patterns and usage rates to ensure that employees are using the system efficiently and effectively
- Maintaining security by monitoring the system for potential vulnerabilities, identifying risks, and taking action to mitigate them
- Troubleshooting technical issues such as email delivery failures or authentication problems
- Managing the deployment of new features or functionality after they have been tested in a staging environment
- Providing training to users on how to use Office 365 effectively
- Addressing user requests for assistance with issues pertaining to their accounts, including password resets and help with downloading emails
- Creating reports about the usage of Office 365 and identifying potential areas for improvement based on the data collected
- Providing support for mobile devices that use Office 365, including Android phones and iPhones
- Troubleshooting problems with hardware or software that is used in conjunction with Office 365, such as printers or mobile phones that use Exchange ActiveSync
- Provide professional and proactive administration for Microsoft 365 Teams and related applications available in the Azure platform.
- Develop and implement changes.
- Champion Microsoft 365 Teams-based solutions embracing new functionality and increasing user adoption
- Manage risks and adhere to processes, to ensure a reliable and controlled IT service delivery
- Liaise with internal customers to ensure that the business requirements of the application are fulfilled
- Collaborate with other teams to develop system integrations, data migration, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with Records Management & and other business stakeholders to maintain MS Teams governance, in line with the business requirements, and implement system functionality where required.
- Team Site to the development of processes and standards for M365 team delivery
Required Skills:
- Microsoft 365 certification, with demonstratable experience delivering Microsoft 365 teams' solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Significant experience in Microsoft Teams Administration, including the Microsoft Teams Admin Centre
- Knowledge of Voice Communications, team calls in M365 Teams, and General Telephony
- Familiarity with concepts for distribution lists, security groups, and M365 Groups
- Understand M365 Teams integration capabilities with M365, SharePoint Online, and Third-Party Apps
- Experience maintaining a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 core technologies
- Experience in producing high-quality documentation and user guides for the wider business.
- Experience in undertaking business impact assessments for major M365 updates, as well as analyzing complex technical issues and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Experience of working with third-party providers e.g., Microsoft technical support, Consultancies, etc.
- Experience in implementing security features of Microsoft.
- Experience with Microsoft security tools like Defender, MCAS, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft DLP
- Know about the project implementation cycle and follow timelines.
- Experience with O365 email flow and enabling Office 365 email security features.
- Hands-on experience working on threat explorer, and threat hunting.
- Good at pulling out reports from all portals or PowerShell for audit purposes.
- Work and collaborate with other teams on projects and calls.

Azure AD Self-service password reset, Azure AD access reviews
Azure AD App Registration
-Authentication Methods (sign-on security, multi-factor authentication (MFA), device sign-on methods, Azure Seamless SSO, ADFS, ADFS Proxy, PHS and PTA)
- Advanced knowledge of designing, supporting, and upgrading Active Directory environments (Authentication, Authorization, Group Policy Objects, LDAP, PKI, DNS, ADFS, MIM/PAM, LAPS, etc.)
Certification:
- MS-100 (Microsoft 365 Identity and Services)
- MS-200 (MS-200: Planning and Configuring a Messaging Platform)
- MS-300 (Deploying Microsoft 365 Teamwork)
- MS 500 (Microsoft 365 Security Administration)
- MD-101 (Managing Modern Desktops)
- AZ-140 (Configuring and Operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop)
Qualifications
