Position: Infrastructure Ops Engineer - Teams/O365

Contract Duration: 6 months (CTH)

Work Location: Bangalore, IN (Hybrid)

Responsibility:

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to support collaboration tools and enforce IT standards across the organization. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, documentation development, and escalation management, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the purpose and functionality of deployed collaboration tools and the rationale behind their standardization.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting using vendor documentation and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for IT policy enforcement and product-related issues.
  • Escalate unresolved incidents to vendors and ensure timely resolution.
  • Analyze user-reported issues to identify recurring patterns and systemic problems.
  • Develop comprehensive user guides and technical documentation for end users and helpdesk teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience (based on grade level) administering:
  • Microsoft Teams: Meeting policies, app configurations, team governance
  • Microsoft SharePoint: Access controls, retention policies, site administration
  • Microsoft OneDrive: Sync troubleshooting and basic support
  • Hands-on experience with cross-tenant and cross-company migrations, particularly in M&A contexts.
  • Background in IT engineering or a relevant degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Business Administration with IT focus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing platforms like ServiceNow.
  • Working knowledge of AzureAD/EntraID and hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Exchange fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

  • Administration of Microsoft Teams Rooms
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API
  • Experience building solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate
