Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Business Systems Support who will be responsible for providing functional support for the BSS F&A Application portfolio supporting the Business System Managers and Business System Team Leads. The objective of the role is to ensure the business is provided with high quality support related to maximizing commercial worth and minimizing risk by adhering to Wood policies and procedures, with specific focus on provision of F&A Application training.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supports the Business Systems Leads / Managers in delivering successful projects and subsequent hypercare
- Support Business Systems Lead in new business and entity start-ups to ensure system configuration is as per business requirements and adheres to BSS processes and Wood Policies and Procedures
- Ensure all weekly & monthly system routines are completed in a timely manner
- Report back key issues, risks and challenges to the Business System Team Leads to allow formation of medium term business plans
- Act as the first point of contact for user queries/issues within ServiceNow, providing frontline user support including troubleshooting
- Work with end-users to resolve problems, address functional issues, and provide guidance in the use of systems
- Escalate to and work with technical resources for problems that cannot be resolved in-team
- Maintain close working relationships with all functional areas in relation to system processes
- Create and update training documentation including procedures, process flows and instructions to support business queries and system changes
- Deliver user training to meet business requirements, including system demonstrations, and process walk throughs
- Provide data maintenance & management support
- To undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post
Skills / Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:
- Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent years of experience (majoring in systems would be a bonus)
- Qualified or working towards Accountancy preferred but not essential
**Knowledge, skills and experience**:
- Previous experience in a similar role for Oracle EBS preferable but not essential
- Able to effectively work with multi-disciplinary teams on regional and global levels. Identifies stakeholder needs and refers as appropriate
- Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility over broad objectives, priorities and deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Able to articulate business benefits of systems
