**Key Responsibilities**:
**Day to Day Responsibilities**:
- Leading or assisting in the planning, coordination and implementation of research activities for the categories and our panels aligned to.
- You will be the key point of contact for the respective category/ our panel and drive all the research related imperatives for the market research panel. This would mean delivering customized research projects and all kinds of syndicated data sets.
- The customized projects on our panel could span across foundational, strategic, communications testing/ development and regular hypothesis generation and validation.
- Strategic to promote company service and crack clients for long term.
- Would need to be familiar and comfortable using and interpreting syndicated data sources to be able to drive meaningful insights for the our panel.
- Regular Reviews on performance monitoring of the key our panels via triangulation of different data sources and correlating it with the internal business performance. The end output of reviews expected to the SWOT and also identifying opportunity areas, Integrates knowledge from multiple sources and creates meaningful interpretations and recommendations that address business issues and ensures alignment with key business partners. Influences others in the implementation of action steps to drive the business
- Uses knowledge of key macro trends and leads understanding of consumer, market and competitive landscape to diagnose business performance and address focused business issues, Monitoring competitors' activities and market
- Responsible for regular monthly reporting of Company Services tracks and other syndicated reports for services and Panel Feedback.
- Supports the our panel teams with the key initiatives on the our panel through the year with various consumer understanding and research support. Monitor and manage research budgets
- Be an active member and consumer custodian in the innovation planning, development and launch sampling projects. Participate in discussions with our panel/product development team to understand new product brief and monitor and review the testing undertaken by the team and identify areas for improvement in the product based on analysis of test results
- Uses broader range of research tools/resources/processes to assess business issues, proactively identifies the key business issues/questions and develops the most appropriate research design and analytic plan to address business/ research needs
- Evaluates and incorporates new/emerging research tools that provide increased consumer insight and business growth.
- Has a good understanding of analytics, including market mix modelling and volume forecasting.
- Grounds business in the consumer, and makes sure business decisions on growth opportunities and portfolio strategy are consumer motivated.
- Knowledge of Data Processing output and updated requirement by market research needs.
**Desired Profile**:
- Proven years experience in Market Research with Full service including Data Collection from every stream, Survey Programming, Data Processing etc.
- Post-graduate degree or equivalent in Management, Market Research, Social Sciences or Statistics is a must
- Understanding of management principles and market research methodologies & processes are critical
- Any experience in running studies amongst experts like Market Research Company etc. would be a bonus
- Knowledge of Market Research Software and tool basics.
- Demonstrates ability to influence cross-functional and upper management to impact decision-making, Willingness to "have an opinion" backed up by insight and analytics and the confidence to influence team members in meetings and one to one basis
- Strong interpersonal skills, Ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely; Data visualization skills are a must
- Technical market research and analytical expertise and conversant in a range of quantitative and qualitative ad hoc research techniques and syndicated business analyses
- Strong team player, yet good level of independence
- Good presentation skills and articulate
- Highly numerate and adept at working with data.
- Creative, open minded, Passionate to go beyond the obvious
- Able to adjust quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to offer full support to our panel team and CMI colleagues
