**Position Overview**:
The Sampling Executive plays a key role in the têxtile industry by managing the sampling process from concept to production. This position involves collaborating with design, production, and quality teams to ensure that têxtile samples meet the required specifications for fabric, design, and quality before full-scale production. The Sampling Executive is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate creation of samples, ensuring that they reflect client needs, design specifications, and technical standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sample Development**:

- Oversee the creation and development of têxtile samples, including fabrics, patterns, colors, and textures, as per customer and design specifications.
- Collaborate with designers, têxtile engineers, and production teams to develop prototypes based on initial designs and customer requirements.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of samples throughout the development process.
- **Coordination with Internal Teams**:

- Work closely with design, production, and quality control teams to ensure that samples are developed according to the agreed-upon timelines and specifications.
- Communicate sample requirements and deadlines effectively to all relevant teams to ensure smooth execution of the sampling process.
- Assist with any revisions or modifications needed to meet customer expectations or technical standards.
- **Sampling Process Management**:

- Organize and manage the entire sampling process, from conceptualization to the creation of the final sample.
- Ensure the timely delivery of samples to clients, stakeholders, or testing facilities.
- Monitor the quality of each sample and maintain a high standard of workmanship across all samples.
- **Material & Fabric Sourcing**:

- Source and select appropriate materials, yarns, fabrics, and trims for sample development.
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials for sample production in a cost-effective manner.
- Ensure that all materials meet the quality, safety, and regulatory standards required for production.
- **Documentation & Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of sample development processes, including material specifications, testing results, and client feedback.
- Create and maintain detailed sample files for future reference, ensuring all changes, revisions, and approvals are properly documented.
- Manage and track the sample approval process, ensuring that clients are updated on progress.
- **Client Interaction & Feedback**:

- Coordinate with customers to understand their requirements for samples and provide feedback on any design or production challenges.
- Present and explain têxtile samples to clients, gathering their feedback and incorporating it into subsequent revisions.
- Address client concerns related to sample quality, adjustments, or production feasibility.
- **Sample Approval & Finalization**:

- Coordinate with the production team and owners to finalize the approval of samples before proceeding to bulk production.
- Ensure that the approved samples are documented and stored for future production reference.
- Work with the design team to ensure any adjustments to the final sample are implemented before scaling production.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Textile Design, Fashion, or a related field.
- Proven experience in têxtile sampling, fabric development, or product development within the têxtile industry.
- Strong knowledge of têxtile materials, production processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for quality and design.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with design and sampling software is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with têxtile testing and fabric properties (e.g., color fastness, shrinkage, etc.).
- Knowledge of têxtile manufacturing techniques, such as weaving, knitting, and printing.
- Experience with CAD software or other têxtile design tools.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a production environment or garment manufacturing.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to sit, stand, and move around a production floor or office environment as needed.
- Ability to work with fabrics and samples regularly, handling materials and products.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office and production floor environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Occasional travel to visit suppliers or attend trade shows may be required.
