**Head Statutory Permission & Compliance (Level G)**

**Job Accountabilities -**:
Techno-economic evaluation of proposals received from consultants, preparation and supervision for various environmental studies such as EIA, EMP, QRA, CRZ Mapping, DMP, Geo-technical /seismic studies, Bio-diversity studies, Forest Tree enumeration etc. and review and approval of the respective reports.
- Obtaining Environmental Clearance
- Obtaining CRZ Clearance
- Obtaining forest clearance at State and Central level, as required
- Obtaining Wildlife Clearance
- Obtaining Forest Rights Act (FRA) NOC
- Obtaining Clearances from Authorities constituted under Eco-sensitive/protected areas.
- Obtaining approvals from NGT/High Court/Supreme Court
- Obtaining Consents (Establish/Operate), Hazardous Waste Authorisation from SPCBs
- Obtaining permission from Central Ground Water Authority.
- Ensuring Project Compliances for all permissions and applicable laws.
- Co-ordination with internal stakeholders for inputs relevant to various studies/compliances.
- Liaisoning with external bodies viz. MoEFCC, SPCB, Forest, Wildlife Departments, Revenue Department, District Administration, State Government, Local panchayats, Block development Office, Sub-divisional Magistrate, Tahsildar and other statutory bodies.
- Obtain laying and commissioning approvals from Fire Dept/PESO/Factories Dept/any other.
- Advise Management on various statutes on Environment, Wildlife, Forest, CRZ, Pollution Control, developmental plan, land acquisition.
- Plan and execute CSR/Enterprise Social Responsibility activities and ensure compliance.
- Obtain crossing permissions from various departments like NHAI/PWD/Irrigation/Local bodies/Gram panchayats etc and other private companies.
- Review Scope of work and assist P&C Team for awarding Contracts/Purchase Order/Work Order for execution of works.
- Prepare and allocate Budget for planned activities.

**Skill & Competencies -**:

- Hands on experience in handling statutory clearances / approvals.
- First-hand knowledge on applicable laws and laws related to Environment, Forest and Wildlife such as EP Act, EPA Rules, Air Act, Water Act, Water CESS Act, EIA Notification, CRZ Notification, FC Act, Hazardous Waste Rules, Municipal Solid Waste Rules, Wildlife Act, Indian Forest Act, Forest Rights Act and Rules, Guidelines/circulars, amendments issued time to time by MoEFCC, SPCB, CPCB, Forest/Wildlife Departments.
- Knowledge on Protected Areas such as National Parks, Wildlife Sanctuaries, Elephant Corridors, Tiger Reserves, Eco-sensitive Zones/Areas, Core and buffer zones of protected areas.
- Knowledge on Certified Auditors, QCI NABET Consultants and functional area experts, QCI NABL Laboratories, MoEFCC/SPCB approved consultants or laboratories.
- Report writing, presentations skills and Communication skills.
- Experience of conducting meetings, presentations, site inspections with various authorities.
- Have good network with various applicable authorities/departments and well connected.

**Education Required -**:

- Post Graduation Degree (M.Tech/M.Sc.)

**Experience Required -**:

- 15 - 20 years of experience in Statutory Permissions and Compliances and have experience in Project Planning and Project Management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
