This position works directly under the chef and the executive chef in supervising the line cooks and the preparation of menu items.
- Running the kitchen, especially when the executive chef is not around, takes excellent leadership skills, as well as knowledge of every facet of the menu.
- To further assist the executive chef, the sous chef performs a variety of administrative duties that aid in the efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Overseeing the production of menu items and monitoring the quality and consistency of food production.
- Hiring, training and supervising the kitchen staff.
- Serving as an expeditor as needed.
- Assisting the chef in developing sales forecasts, food costs, shrinkage costs, and more.
- Working the line, as needed.
- Being able to handle a stressful, fast-paced environment.

**QUALIFICATION - Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management**

**Salary**: ₹16,203.83 - ₹58,625.37 per month
