
Customer Service Representative

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding import shipments and inquiries.
- Manage and track the status of inbound shipments, providing regular updates to clients.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure the smooth clearance of goods.
- Resolve any issues related to shipping, documentation, or customs compliance.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing import documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.).
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns, answering questions, and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as sales, warehouse, and finance) to streamline operations.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment statuses, customer interactions, and reports.
**Qualifications**:
- Prior experience in customer service or import logistics is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of import procedures, documentation, and customs regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and tracking systems is a plus.
- Problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mindset.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
