**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation & Cooking**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of continental dishes according to restaurant recipes and menu standards.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation for all dishes prepared.
- Ensure mise en place (preparation of ingredients) is completed for service.
- Coordinate the cooking of orders in a timely manner and maintain quality under pressure.
- Follow all standard operating procedures for cooking methods, portion control, and garnishing.
- **Station Management**:

- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing and overseeing the continental station during service.
- Ensure that all stations are organized and set up properly before, during, and after service.
- Monitor and maintain the proper storage of ingredients and ensure kitchen inventory is well-stocked.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring that hygiene and sanitation standards are consistently met.
- **Supervision & Training**:

- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff (Commis) to ensure the correct preparation of food.
- Assist in the training and development of the Commis staff on cooking techniques, presentation standards, and food safety practices.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in delegating tasks and managing time effectively within the kitchen.
- **Quality Control & Presentation**:

- Ensure that dishes are plated to the restaurant’s standards before being served to guests.
- Maintain quality control throughout the cooking process to ensure consistency in every dish.
- Inspect food items for freshness, quality, and portioning to ensure adherence to the restaurant’s standards.
- **Operational Support**:

- Support the Chef de Partie with daily prep tasks, inventory checks, and ordering of supplies.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and help manage stock rotation to prevent waste and ensure all ingredients are used efficiently.
- Assist with menu development, creating new dishes or improving existing recipes.
- **Health & Safety**:

- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations and ensure all kitchen practices comply with local health and safety laws.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is used properly and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen and report any safety concerns to the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other kitchen teams, such as the pastry and hot kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure that food is delivered on time and at the correct quality.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹24,000.00 per month
