**Position: Motion Graphics & Video Editor - Intern**

**Context and Purpose of the Job**

Video content is a core part of RioMed’s marketing strategy. Our videos both entertain customers and inform them about our wide product range. All of this is possible thanks to our behind-the-scenes video staff. We’re looking for a skilled video editor to work in both short and long formats, taking footage shot by marketing teams and editing it based on project specs. After showing a rough draft to stakeholders, they’ll be responsible for implementing project notes. The finished product will represent the best of the company and the video editor’s skill.

Objectives
- Set a high bar for video marketing deliverables.
- Proficient in video creation and editing with design software.
- Produce engaging product tutorial videos, testimonials, reels, and YouTube content.
- Identify and implement improvements in the video editing process.
- Produce content for diverse audiences and platforms.
- Keep up to date with the latest video marketing trends.
- Familiarity with special effects, Motion Graphic (2D Animation) & compositing.
- Create impactful logos, designs, flyers, brochures, and digital media.
- Strong video editing skills, including audio editing and graphical sequencing.

Main Responsibilities
- Edit short
- and long-form videos for social media accounts.
- Take charge of video ideation and creation.
- Ensure videos meet the marketing team’s specifications and guidelines.
- Implement creative notes from Management.

Additional Note
- That this a guide to your role you may be asked to do additional tasks as required by the RioMed consistent with the post.

ESSENTIAL
- Familiarity with Adobe photoshop, illustrator & InDesign.
- Familiarity with video editing software like Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Capacity to communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to pick out attention-grabbing shots.
- Excellent storytelling skills.
- Knowledge of basic editing principles.

Desirable
- Ability to work with multi-track split audio.
- Has portfolio as proof of work.
- Knowledge of aspect ratios.
- Understanding of video encoding formats.
- Talent for sound design.

Line of Reporting
- Reporting to the Line Manager
