Description

An Inbound Product Manager is a key role within a product management team responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance existing products and features. This role focuses on gathering and analyzing customer feedback, market research, and competitive intelligence to guide product improvements and enhancements, ensuring products remain competitive and aligned with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Feedback and Research:

- Collect and analyze customer feedback through surveys, interviews, and support channels.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive insights.

Product Enhancement Strategy:

- Develop and communicate a product enhancement strategy that aligns with the company's overall product vision and business objectives.
- Prioritize product enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.

Requirements Gathering:

- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, support teams, and internal departments, to define detailed product requirements.
- Document user stories, use cases, and functional specifications for development teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful implementation of product enhancements.
- Communicate and clarify product requirements, design decisions, and priorities to development teams.

Product Development Process:

- Utilize agile methodologies or other relevant product development frameworks to guide product enhancement projects.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog management, and release planning.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Define acceptance criteria for product enhancements and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure they meet the desired quality standards.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that enhancements align with user expectations.

Release Management:

- Assist in planning and coordinating product releases, ensuring seamless deployment of enhancements.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
- Proficiency in using product management and collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with product development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
