Vedika Machinery Pvt. Ltd. is India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of spare parts for teabag packaging machinery, with exports to over 38 countries. We are seeking an **experienced EDM Spark Operator** to join our high-precision manufacturing team at our Kolkata factory.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and monitor **EDM Spark erosion machines** (Electronica or similar) for precision part manufacturing
- Read and understand technical drawings and job cards
- Set up jobs based on sample or AutoCAD drawing
- Ensure accurate tool alignment, spark parameters, and finish quality
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on EDM machine
- Work closely with QC department to meet tight tolerances
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area
- Record daily output and follow shift schedule

**Required Experience and Skills**
- **Minimum 2-4 years** of hands-on experience operating EDM Spark machines
- Familiarity with **Electronica EDM machines** preferred
- Ability to read **2D mechanical drawings** and understand dimensional tolerances
- Understanding of precision machining for hard materials (e.g. tool steel, hardened steel)
- Knowledge of spark parameters, electrode wear, and machining strategy
- Should be comfortable working in a team-oriented shop floor environment

**Preferred Qualifications**
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Tool & Die Making
- Experience in a **precision parts or tooling environment**
