Here is a job description for an EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Operator:
*Job Title:* EDM Operator

*Job Summary:*

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Operate EDM equipment*: Set up and operate EDM machines to manufacture parts and tools according to specifications and tolerances.

2. *Program EDM machines*: Create and edit programs for EDM machines using EDM software.

3. *Maintain EDM equipment*: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

4. *Inspect and measure parts*: Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances.

5. *Follow safety protocols*: Follow all safety protocols and procedures when operating EDM equipment, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe working environment.

6. *Collaborate with team members*: Work closely with other team members, including machinists, engineers, and quality control inspectors, to ensure efficient and high-quality production.

7. *Optimize processes*: Continuously look for ways to improve EDM processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

8. *Maintain records*: Keep accurate records of production, including part numbers, quantities, and any issues or defects.

*Requirements:*

1. *Experience*: 2+ years of experience operating EDM equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

2. *Technical skills*: Strong understanding of EDM principles, including electrode design, machining parameters, and material properties.

3. *Programming skills*: Experience with EDM and Wirecut program

4. *Mechanical aptitude*: Ability to troubleshoot and maintain EDM equipment.

5. *Attention to detail*: Strong attention to detail to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.

6. *Communication skills*: Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and management.

7. *Safety awareness*: Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
