Job Description for CNC Machine Wire EDM Operator

Designation: CNC Operator - WIRE EDM

Job Location: Preferably near Bommasandra, Bangalore

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Programming: Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for Wire EDM machines.
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate Wire EDM machines efficiently to meet quality and production requirements.
  • Machine Setup: Perform setup of machines, including loading materials, tool changing, and making sure the machine is correctly calibrated.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues during machine operations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all parts are manufactured to the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Read and Interpret Technical Drawings: Understand blueprints, technical drawings, and part specifications to create accurate CNC programs.
  • Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery of parts.
  • Documentation: Maintain proper documentation for work orders, material usage, and production records.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 to 6 years of experience as a CNC Wire EDM Operator and Programmer.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in wire EDM programming, machine settings, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of cutting tools, machines, and quality checks.
  • Languages Known:
  • Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, or English.

Working Hours:

  • General Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • First Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
  • Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Preferred Location:

  • Candidates located near Bommasandra will be given preference.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
