Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wire EDM Operator located in Bengaluru. The Wire EDM Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating wire EDM machines, reading and interpreting drawings, ensuring accurate machining of components, performing routine maintenance on machines, and troubleshooting any operational issues. The operator will work closely with the manufacturing team to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in setting up and operating Wire EDM machines
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and tolerances
  • Knowledge tool and die making is an added advantage
  • Basic understanding of precision measurement tools and techniques
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on machines
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Technical diploma or relevant certification in machining or related field
