Machinist

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machines, including milling, turning, and Wire EDM.
• Operate and monitor CNC machines, ensuring accuracy and precision in component production.
• Perform Laser Cutting operations, including setup, programming, and maintenance of equipment.
• Use CAD/CAM software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or similar) to design, simulate, and prepare machining operations.
• Generate NC programs and optimize machining strategies for efficiency, precision, and material utilization.
• Troubleshoot machining, programming, and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to understand technical specifications and meet quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintenance schedules for all CNC and laser equipment.
• Document processes, maintain machine logs, and provide technical guidance to junior staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in CNC Machining, Laser Cutting, NC Programming, Wire EDM, and EMD operations.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Mastercam, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of tooling, machining parameters, and material properties.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with quality standards and inspection procedures

Preferred Skills:

• Experience Required: 2 4 years
• Proven background in high-precision manufacturing
• Hands-on knowledge of 5-axis CNC programming
• Familiarity with advanced machining techniques and process optimization tools
