The Sales Officer for dairy products is responsible for generating sales, building customer relationships, and expanding the market presence of the company’s dairy products. This role involves working closely with distributors, retailers, and key accounts to ensure product availability and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Achievement**:

- Meet and exceed sales targets for dairy products within the designated region.
- Implement sales strategies to increase product penetration in retail stores, supermarkets, and other channels.
- Focus on generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- **Market Expansion**:

- Identify new distribution channels, markets, and potential clients for dairy products.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor product performance, placement, and competition.
- Negotiate deals and contracts with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:

- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers and distributors to ensure the brand's visibility.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Provide product training and information to retailers and distributors to enhance product understanding.
- **Market Analysis & Reporting**:

- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing team on customer preferences, pricing trends, and product performance.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market conditions.
- **Promotions and Merchandising**:

- Implement in-store promotions, marketing campaigns, and merchandising efforts to maximize product visibility.
- Ensure that dairy products are correctly placed and displayed in stores.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or surpluses.
- Communicate with distributors to ensure optimal stock levels at all times.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the sales team to align strategies and achieve company-wide goals.
- Provide support to junior sales representatives, helping them meet their targets and improve performance.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG or dairy industry.
- **Skills**:

- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision.
- Good knowledge of the local market, consumer preferences, and competition.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
