We are looking for an Operations Coordinator who is responsible to plan and execute logistics requirements necessary for the successful export and/or import of orders as accepted to the customer’s satisfaction. In addition, strive to ensure that all moves are executed in the most cost-effective way and that all activities are consistently within existing Quality Management System ISO9001, ISO22000, SQAS Tank Cleaning, CDI IMPCAS, AEO, CT-PAT.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk-liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 42,000 tank containers, owns a worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.

You will be joining a professional and international team with extensive knowledge of the industry. Working closely with our customers and vendors, you will provide customers with excellent service. Your expertise ensures that we will continue to set the industry benchmark for seamless and efficient operations.

**Key Activities**
- Check move specifics, follow up with our agents to ensure the move is created and updated in a timely manner, process and monitor confirmation of final customer order. Ensure that booking confirmation from shipping line is received and correct details are communicated to Customer.
- Register required data in Vendor Booking List, in order for Equipment coordinator to review Vendor and update planning. Ensure that Vendor instructions are accurate and communicated in time.
- Update the system accordingly and in a timely manner. Follow up with our agents to ensure that all Transport Documentation (Customs) is dealt with accurately and according to regulations.
- Manage day-to-day operational emergencies and inform Operations Supervisor of any serious incidents.
- Identify and address supplier problems and generate alternative solutions when necessary.
- Ensure all operational non-conformances for vendors/suppliers are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow up with our agent, assist accounting and local management with accounts receivable problems.
- Ensure that specific accounting instructions and agreements with customers are properly communicated by our agent and implemented within STC.
- Ensure billing procedures are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
- Actively participate in Internal and External Training. Assist the Operations Supervisors/ Manager with projects as they arise.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum three/five years’ experience in tank container, forwarding or shipping industry with a proven track record of meeting targets.
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Affinity with working in an international environment.
- Team player.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office.
- Must be ethical, detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize and set goals; Fluent in English and one local 3 rd language (e.g.Hindi, Marathi).
