**Job description**

**Cake Preparation**:

- Bake cakes from scratch, ensuring they are moist, flavorful, and of consistent quality.
- Prepare various types of cakes (e.g., layered cakes, specialty cakes, cupcakes) using the appropriate ingredients and techniques.
- Ensure cakes are baked to the correct temperature and timing to maintain optimal taste and texture.

**Cake Decoration**:

- Basic cake decoration using piping technique and chocolate work.
- Setting and frosting cake.
- Chocolate production.

**Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all cakes meet the highest standards of taste, appearance, and quality before they are presented to customers.
- Conduct taste tests to maintain consistent flavor and texture for all cakes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cake quality, decoration, or production.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
- Ensure that the work area and equipment are cleaned and maintained according to food safety standards.
- Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines, including the safe handling of sharp tools and kitchen equipment.

**Inventory and Stock Management**:

- Monitor the inventory of cake decorating supplies and ingredients (e.g., fondant, icing, decorations) and notify management when stock is low.
- Properly store ingredients and materials to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.
- Assist in managing supplies and ensuring that materials are used efficiently.

**Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other bakery staff to ensure efficient production and smooth operation.
- Assist in training junior cake decorators or new team members.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management teams to meet the daily and weekly production needs.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Cake Maker and Decorator or in a similar role within the baking industry.
- Expertise in cake decoration techniques, including piping, fondant, and sugar art.
- Creativity and an eye for detail in creating custom cake designs.
- Knowledge of various cake baking techniques and flavor profiles.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Yearly bonus
