**Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)**
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Lead Generation:
- Research and identify potential customers (leads) using tools like LinkedIn, CRM systems, and other prospecting platforms.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
2. Lead Qualification:
- Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand their needs and challenges.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria (e.g., budget, authority, need, timeline - BANT framework).
- Determine if a lead is a good fit for the company’s products or services.
3. Appointment Setting and Demos:
- Schedule meetings or demos for Account Executives (AEs) or the sales team.
- Conduct product demos for qualified leads to showcase the company’s solutions and address specific client needs.
- Ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads to the appropriate salesperson.
4. CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on target accounts and messaging.
- Provide feedback to marketing on the quality of leads generated from campaigns.
6. Continuous Learning:
- Stay informed about the company’s products, services, and industry trends.
- Participate in training sessions to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and demo delivery.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
1. Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
- Strong presentation skills for delivering engaging and effective demos.
2. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Ability to use demo tools and software to showcase product features.
3. Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Resilience and ability to handle rejection.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
4. Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
5. Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role is a plus.
- Experience in delivering product demos or presentations.
- Knowledge of the industry or market the company operates in.
**Work Environment**:
- SDRs in Office Job
- The role often involves high-volume outreach and requires strong time management skills.
- Collaboration with sales, marketing, and customer success teams is common.
- Delivering demos may require familiarity with virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
