OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox Corporation is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to work in our Bangalore office. The technician will be responsible for providing best in class support to all levels of Fox employees. This position will address all support, service and technology needs for Fox employees. This position requires maintaining a high degree of professionalism, have superior customer service skills, and strong troubleshooting skills. The Desktop Support Technician will provide the day-to-day operational technology support in the office and interface with the various technology teams.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Deskside equipment setups and moves.
- Computer imaging and configuration.
- New hire onboarding on their equipment.
- Assist on Technology projects.
- Log, update and follow up on support requests in ticketing system.
- Ensure support meets the customer requirements as defined in the Service Level Agreements.
- Provide operational support and maintenance of technology equipment.
- Work with the team to maintain the asset inventory.
- Provide training and demonstration of technology to employees.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with other groups in Technology.
- Communicate any escalation of issues and/or feedback to proper management.
- Provide remote support to employees not in the office.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Formal education preferred in a technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Help Desk or technology support environment.
- Experience supporting customers of all levels.
- Passion for customer support and ability to adapt to different environments.
- Must be flexible, patient, and approachable.
- Ability to handle challenging support situations with a calm and methodical approach.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office 365, Windows and Mac environments. Okta, Box, Zoom, Slack experience a plus. Basic understanding of networks.
- Knowledgeable of latest and emerging technology.
- Solid written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to quickly and appropriately prioritize multiple requests and bring them to successful resolution.
- Ability to lift and transport moderately heavy to heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
