Job Description "Desktop L1 Engineer (Field Support)"

Designation: Desktop L1 Engineer (Field Support)

Location: Bangalore – Kudlugate, 560068

Experience: 1–3 years

Office Timing: Monday to Saturday – 9AM to 6PM

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹23,000 CTC (based on knowledge & experience)

Allowances: Travel allowance (₹2.5/km petrol allowance or Bus Pass) + Mobile

allowance

(Note: Home-to-office and oƯice-to-home travel not claimable)

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Desktop L1 Engineer – Field Support to

provide on-site technical assistance to our clients across Bangalore. The engineer will

handle incidents, service requests, and provide support for desktops, laptops, printers,

and basic networking, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime for endusers.

Key Responsibilities

 Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.

 Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues (Windows OS, MS OƯice, email,

antivirus, etc.).

 Perform hardware replacements such as motherboard, RAM, display, Coordinate with vendors for hardware warranty, replacements, or new

deployments.

 Maintain records of incidents, resolutions, and IT assets.

 Deliver excellent customer service with timely issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

 Diploma/Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

 1–3 years of experience in Desktop/Field Support role.

 Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking, and hardware

replacement.

 Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop/printer troubleshooting.

 Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 Willingness to travel to customer sites across Bangalore. oard,

and other components.

 Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices and applications.

 Troubleshoot basic networking issues (LAN/Wi-Fi), including crimping.Coordinate with vendors for hardware warranty, replacements, or new

deployments.

 Maintain records of incidents, resolutions, and IT assets.

 Deliver excellent customer service with timely issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications
