
Inside Sales Representative

A **Counter Sales Representative** (or **Counter Sales Associate**) typically works in a retail or wholesale environment, engaging directly with customers at a service counter.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations based on customer needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain an organized and clean sales counter area.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints in accordance with company policies.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales and meet customer needs.
- Ensure stock levels at the counter are adequate and notify the team for reordering as needed.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking shelves, and maintaining product displays.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about product features, promotions, and new arrivals to effectively assist customers.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or higher is a plus).
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of products or materials weighing up to [X] pounds.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
