**Product Planning**
- Drive increase in the top line / sales target of the channel for the product; Monitor performance of top performers and analyze their growth patterns; Monitor inactive advisors, seek approaches to increase their participation and thereby increase contribution towards product sales
Interact with high performing advisors, to understand their challenges and gaps in the process to ensure process improvements such as documentations related to policy, policy issuance, communication, etc., e.g. QR code process for monitoring TAT from proposal to policy issuance
Engage with relevant stakeholders, such as operations for seeking support on the process change and implementation; Ensure product, policy issuance and related communication is reaching the advisors in a smooth manner
Plan and ensure execution of training programs for the advisors to enhance product knowledge, e.g. log in days to push at least 1 policy login on those days
Analyze, recommend and execute enablers to drive product sales, such as development of attractive campaigns for advisors to drive sales for the products (half yearly/ annual) e.g. increased credit programs, additional payouts on profitable products to the business partners to drive desirable business
To drive a green PnL, focus on loss making advisors / low performing associates across geographies; Analyze their business performance, alert them on the consistent losses, high frequency losses, etc.; Propose actions for such advisors to restrict loss making products and limit the loss generating business; Determine ideas for bringing the loss ratios in control, coordinate with ILM team for potential frauds, underwriting team, etc.; Undertake analysis to identify gaps, areas and improvement
Conduct deep dive analysis of MIS/ Analytics for studying advisor performance, product performance, geography performance, etc. and provide inputs on various aspects**2.'Risk Assessment and Underwriting**
- Review technical proposals received from various Intermediaries /customers / as received from the zone basis the existing guidelines / norms
Evaluate proposal thoroughly considering past claims / cases and assess conformance with the set underwriting guidelines; seek more information on proposals, intermediaries’ customers, if required
Conduct 360 degree review of risks along with any associated loss ratio; set standard terms and conditions for the proposal
Arrive at the approvals; discuss the same with the superior, if required; provide clarifications to the customer / intermediaries & sales team, if required
Scrutinize the proposals received and assess adherence to the norms, guidelines and if the premium considered is correct and accounts for associated risk; share the information with the Technical Head / Regional Manager, if there is a deviation
- **3.Product performance**
- Research and analyze internal and external performance of the various products in terms of market demand, competitors, customer segmentation etc. Identify opportunities for driving growth and make recommendations; Align on business targets and key initiatives
Track top line and product mix on a regular basis, review against targets and analyze deviations; Drive marketing teams and channel partners to drive sales accordingly
Scan and conduct research on market and competitors; Interact with Marketing teams and channel partners for gathering additional market insights; Analyze and identify opportunities to grow the business and achieve desired product mix; Provide leads and work with Marketing teams and channel partners to implement plans
Work with Underwriting team to enable promotion drives for products and provide competitive quotes for specific policy proposals
Track and analyze targeted performance and profitability across products and geographies; Identify and implement changes and corrections to the sales approach for achieving desired profitability
- **4.Education and awareness**
- Drive digital adoption of the products; Review and ensure all Non-Motor products are listed on the websites and related key information is available
Send regular communications to Marketing team and channel partners to create product awareness; Conduct training sessions to drive understanding of various products
- **5.Channel enablement and process enhancement**
- Regularly interact with Marketing teams and channel partners to understand system/ process issues in policy issuance, claims management etc.; Identify opportunities for technical enablement and process improvements, and work with IT and Technical teams to drive the changes
Provide prompt support to address any errors or escalations in policy issuance
Conduct regular meetings and conference calls with channel partners, educate and engage the partners and explore the areas of support required by them from BAGIC.
