Export Operations

The Export Operations role involves managing the logistics, documentation, and compliance aspects of exporting goods internationally. This position ensures that all export activities are carried out in compliance with national and international regulations, and goods are delivered to their destination smoothly and efficiently. The Export Operations professional works closely with internal departments, customers, customs authorities, and freight forwarders to ensure a seamless export process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Export Documentation & Compliance**:

- Prepare and review export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export declarations, and other required documents.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable export laws, regulations, and international trade agreements.
- Monitor export licenses and permits, ensuring they are valid and up-to-date.
- **Coordination of Shipping & Logistics**:

- Organize transportation and delivery of goods to international destinations, selecting appropriate carriers (air, sea, land).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely shipping and delivery.
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers regarding delivery status and potential delays.
- **Customs Clearance**:

- Ensure that goods clear customs without delays by coordinating with customs brokers and ensuring proper paperwork is submitted.
- Stay updated on changes in customs regulations to avoid compliance issues and prevent potential delays.
- **Inventory Management & Order Processing**:

- Oversee inventory levels and ensure stock is available for export.
- Process export orders, ensuring that the correct quantity and specifications are met.
- Work with warehouse teams to ensure proper packing and labeling of goods for export.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Provide support to customers regarding their export shipments, addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
- Communicate with international customers to ensure that the shipment process is transparent and meets their expectations.
- **Risk Management**:

- Ensure that insurance coverage for shipments is in place, if necessary, and help manage any claims in the event of loss or damage.
- Work with the finance team to resolve any payment or invoicing issues that arise in the export process.
- **Cost Control & Budgeting**:

- Track export costs and work with the finance team to ensure cost-effective transportation and customs processes.
- Negotiate with service providers such as freight forwarders, shipping companies, and other third-party logistics vendors for competitive rates.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain and update export records, ensuring that they are accurate and readily available for audits or internal purposes.
- Prepare reports on export activities, performance, and financial results.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Experience with export documentation and shipping processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and export management software.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve challenges efficiently.
- Understanding of export insurance and risk management.
- Must know digital marketing.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Quarterly bonus
- Yearly bonus
