We are looking for an organized and proactive **Procurement Associate** to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the procurement process by sourcing materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality products. This role is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of procurement practices who is eager to expand their experience in a dynamic work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Management and Sourcing**:

- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and selecting vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring ongoing alignment with procurement standards.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends that can benefit the company’s procurement strategy.
- **Order Processing and Management**:

- Support the processing of purchase orders and ensure timely follow-ups to meet project timelines.
- Track and manage order status, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any delays with vendors proactively.
- Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- **Quality Assurance and Cost Control**:

- Assist in evaluating product quality and supplier compliance to ensure they meet company standards.
- Help negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Identify and communicate potential cost-saving opportunities in the procurement process.
- **Data Management and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate procurement records, including order details, invoices, and supplier agreements.
- Update and monitor procurement reports to support decision-making and future planning.
- Utilize procurement software to streamline and document processes, ensuring transparency and traceability.
- **Internal Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g., finance, logistics, production) to align procurement activities with company goals.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss procurement challenges and opportunities.
- Communicate any potential issues to stakeholders and work on solutions to minimize impacts.

**Qualifications**:

- Required Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in procurement, supply chain in agricultural field.
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

**Workdays-** 6 days (Fixed Sunday Off)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
