The Position

Procurement Executive

Job Summary

Key responsibilities:

- Plans and directs day-to-day operations for procurement
- Compliance to health and safety regulations of Imerys Group
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and procure materials in accordance with the company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
- Take appropriate corrective and preventive actions for the goods / services rejected in-house
- Responsible for planning and procurement of raw material, packing material, maintenance spares etc. within the specified timelines
- Undertakes continuous improvement actions to strengthen systems and processes
- Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved and service is quick and efficient
- Sound knowledge of procurement concepts, practices and procedures
- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
- Analyze shipment logs
- Responsible for analyzing and publishing ontime reports as per the requirements
- Determine, track and continuously improve on the Key KPIs

Education and Experience requirements:

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Bachelor’s in Commerce
- 4-7yrs relevant working experience
- Sound knowledge of Safety
- Good working experience in MS-Office

- Strong creative mind-set, self-starter, team player, strategic thinker
- Ability to interpret basic financial data.

- Ability to lead and deal with senior managers across organization
- Good management skill-Computer literate with advanced level in MS Excel and Power-point.
