**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Chinese dishes, including but not limited to dim sum, stir-fries, noodles, soups, and specialty items.
- Design and develop menus, ensuring a balance of traditional and innovative dishes.
- Monitor food preparation processes to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes and standards.
- Source and manage high-quality ingredients, maintaining stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Chinese cooking techniques and hygiene practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in all kitchen operations.
- Experiment with and introduce new dishes to keep the menu fresh and competitive.
- Work closely with management to understand customer preferences and adapt offerings accordingly.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Chinese Chef in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment.
- In-depth knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking methods, regional cuisines, and modern culinary trends.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in using specialized kitchen equipment like woks and steamers.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and work efficiently under pressure.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail in food presentation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Formal culinary training or certification in Chinese cuisine is preferred.
