Scrum Master

**Summary**

This role reports to the Digital Transformation Leads and the Digital Governance Team. The Scrum Master will be part of the project delivery team to ensure adoption of agile practices, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, and eliminating team impediments.

The Scrum Master will work with the Governance Team to align on the tools and methods to be used to ensure consistency in requirement gathering and management. This role will work as an integral member of delivery projects and develop close relationships with all areas of the business.

**Scope of Responsibilities**:
Scrum and Agile Methodology
- Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
- Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
- Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes.
- Monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements.
- Planning and organizing demos and product/system testing.
- Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team.
- Tracking project processes, deliverables, and financials.
- Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.
- Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
- Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework
- Resolve conflicts and issues that occur
- Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
- Support the product owner and provide education where needed
- Reports to the Digital Governance Team and ensuring all key aspects of the projects are highlighted and escalated in a timely manner

**Location: Bangalore**

**Experience**:

- 3 to 6 years of experience as a scrum master or in a similar role
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or

Kanban, to deliver solutions
- Certified scrum master, SAFe preferred

**Skills/ Experiences**

- Facilitates scrum ceremonies for the teams (Grooming, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review & sprint retrospective)
- Keeps the team organized, on track and focus what matters
- Guide the scrum teams to follow Agile & Scrum practices to actively promote prioritization,team readiness & commitment for each sprint.
- Collaborate with product owners, teams and stakeholders to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
- Protects the team from interruptions
- Coaches the team and PO to enhance performance
- Ability to analyse and think quickly and to resolve conflict
- Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
- Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
- Experience with successful Agile techniques
