Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Chief Financial Advisor is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties:

- Develop comprehensive financial plans for the metro project, covering all phases from planning to operation.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with approved financial goals and constraints.
- Provide cost estimates for various project components, such as construction, equipment, and operations.
- Oversee the allocation and disbursement of funds, ensuring efficient utilization across different project activities.
- Manage funding sources, including government grants, loans, and private investments.
- Monitor cash flows to ensure project liquidity and timely payments to contractors and vendors
- Identify potential financial risks, such as cost overruns, delays, and funding shortfalls.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and protect project assets.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and contractors to align financial objectives with project execution.
- Implement cost control measures to minimize wastage and enhance efficiency.
- Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with budgets and contracts.
- Recommend cost-saving strategies and negotiate better terms with vendors and suppliers
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor compliance with financial covenants associated with loans or funding agreements.
- Maintain transparent financial records for audits and reporting purpose
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and expenditure summaries.
- Support the procurement team in evaluating bids and ensuring financial viability of contracts.
- Review financial terms in contracts and agreements to protect project interests.
- Ensure timely release of payments in accordance with contract terms and milestones
- Develop innovative funding strategies, including public-private partnerships (PPPs), to secure project financing

Profile/Skills:

- Degree in CA with 18+ years in railway or railway related industry.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budget management.
- Knowledge of funding mechanisms for infrastructure projects, including PPPs and multilateral financing.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial risks, opportunities, and performance.
- Expertise in resolving complex financial issues and optimizing resource utilization
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data and engaging with stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide finance teams and influence decision-making.
- Proficiency in financial management software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with project management tools to align financial goals with execution plans.
