Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Chief Architectural Expert is the key position in these BIDs

Missions/Main Duties:

- Oversee the architectural design of metro stations, depots, and auxiliary structures, ensuring alignment with project objectives and urban context.
- Develop and implement architectural concepts that balance functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
- Review and validate architectural designs, drawings, and specifications provided by consultants and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, and project-specific requirements.
- Incorporate passenger-friendly elements such as efficient circulation, intuitive wayfinding, and seamless integration with other transport modes.
- Ensure accessibility features, including ramps, elevators, tactile guidance, and inclusive facilities, for all users, including those with disabilities.
- Optimize designs for comfort, convenience, and safety.
- Integrate sustainable design principles, such as energy-efficient lighting, natural ventilation, and eco-friendly materials.
- Promote the use of innovative technologies, including smart building systems, green roofs, and rainwater harvesting.
- Ensure designs reflect environmental considerations and align with sustainability goals
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure on-site construction aligns with approved architectural designs and quality standards.
- Address and resolve design-related issues arising during construction phases.
- Provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams on architectural aspects.
- Act as the primary interface between the client, project management, consultants, and contractors for architectural matters.
- Collaborate with urban planners, engineers, and interior designers to ensure seamless integration of all design elements.
- Prepare detailed reports on architectural progress, challenges, and recommendations for project leadership.
- Maintain documentation of design approvals, change requests, and lessons learned for future reference.
- Ensure accurate as-built documentation of all architectural works.

Profile/Skills:

- Engineering Graduates Architecture with 20+ years in rail related major infrastructure project and architecture designing of stations in at least one metro project.
- Proficiency in architectural software like AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of structural coordination, building systems, and sustainable design principles.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including fire safety and accessibility.
- Excellent leadership skills to guide multi-disciplinary teams and drive design excellence.
- Strong communication skills to present ideas, negotiate with stakeholders, and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Ability to innovate and adapt designs to overcome project challenges and constraints.
- Strategic thinking to balance project objectives, technical feasibility, and aesthetic goals.
