Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation.

Currently, we are bidding for Metro projects across India. The position of Chief Safety Expert (SHE) is the key position in these BIDs.

Missions/Main Duties:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive safety management system (SMS) for the metro project.
- Define safety goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the project.
- Ensure alignment of safety policies with international safety standards, local regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards across all project phases.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including hazard elimination and control measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to metro projects.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and reviews to monitor adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide recommendations to address non-compliance and improve safety practices.
- Develop and oversee safety training programs for all project personnel, including contractors and consultants.
- Lead investigations into safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to integrate safety measures into all project activities.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities for safety approvals and certifications
- Ensure that safety principles are integrated into the design of stations, depots, and infrastructure.
- Review and approve safety aspects of technical designs, construction methods, and operational plans.
- Promote the use of advanced safety technologies, such as automated safety monitoring systems.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios, including fire, natural disasters, and operational failures.
- Oversee the planning and execution of emergency drills and exercises.

Profile/Skills:

- Engineering Graduate with specialization in safety (such as NEBOSH/ O HSAS etc.) with 20+ years in project of similar nature in government/PSU/ Corporation or major infrastructure works in Quality Assurance. Must have carried out project safety related work in at least two metro project.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, risk management practices, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, ISO).
- Familiarity with safety management software and tools for monitoring and reporting.
- Understanding of metro-specific safety requirements, including signaling safety, fire systems, and passenger evacuation protocols
- Strong ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective safety solutions.
- Expertise in conducting incident investigations and developing actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication skills for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Comprehensive understanding of local safety laws, building codes, and metro project-specific safety requirements.
