**About the Team**

You will be part of the Design Operations Team, a critical group within the Instructional Design team (Design Team), which includes team members in the US and India, and the broader Learning team, which has team members across the globe. The Design team plays a critical role in developing our online course offerings, and ensuring they meet the world-class standards of us and our partner institutions. The person in this role will report to the Senior Video Production Manager.

As an Associate Producer, you will be part of a Video Production Team within Design Operations,and will be responsible for ensuring that all video productions adhere to our processes, timelines, budget, scope, and escalate risks or obstacles, as they occur. You act as the main point of contact for all video productions from request, pre-production planning, production, and ensure the successful handoff to post-production. Additionally, you will assist the Video Production Team with the implementation of video-centric industry best practices, whilst balancing the needs of our Corporate/Ed-tech environment.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Review production requests in Wrike; ensure needs are clear, scope is defined, and the project falls within budget
- Manage requests and centralize all communications for each assigned production in Wrike
- Schedule and manage production milestones, including filming sessions
- Ensure production schedules meet budget, deadline, and quality standards
- Maintain existing vendor relationships and partner with the Video Production Team to develop new partnerships with both remote vendors and studio vendors, globally
- Ensure all productions within your assigned portfolio meet brand guidelines for Emeritus and those set forth by our Partner Institutions, and escalating when they do not
- Enter production risks in Wrike in a timely manner
- Manage, actualize, and report out on the budget for each assigned production
- Partnering with the Senior Video Production Manager, implement creative strategies to help reduce production costs, while evolving with the needs of the business
- Oversee process improvements; adhering to change management best practices
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with production vendors
- Collect, onboard, and retain all necessary documentation for vendors; Production Agreements, Schedule A’s, invoices, and the required information as set forth by our Finance team
- Collect quotes from vendors for each project
- Consult, coordinate, and serve as a go-to for our video production process from start to finish; ensuring pre-production and filming milestone occur successfully
- Ensure learnings from each production are logged and applied to our processes to improve the experience for future productions
- For all video productions taking place in a studio or on location, ensure the film crewadheres to our COVID guidelines and restrictions
- As necessary, travel to film shoots domestically or abroad
- Other duties, as assigned, including, but not limited to: sourcing IP permissions for assets to be used within final post produced videos.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years of experience as a video production coordinator, production assistant, or multimedia producer.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating, managing, and executing on projects successfully.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Corporate and Ed-tech video styles and clientele.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, vendor management, and expense skillsets.
