A freelance video editor is responsible for editing and enhancing video content to meet the specific requirements of clients or projects. They work independently or as part of a team to transform raw footage into engaging, visually appealing, and coherent videos.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**: Edit video footage to create a seamless and visually appealing final product. This includes cutting, trimming, and arranging clips, adding transitions, and ensuring proper sequencing.
- **Audio Editing**: Adjust and enhance audio elements, including music, sound effects, and dialogue. Ensure that audio syncs correctly with the video.
- **Color Correction and Grading**: Enhance video quality by adjusting colors, contrast, and brightness. Maintain consistency in color throughout the video.
- **Special Effects and Graphics**: Add visual effects, text overlays, titles, and graphics as needed to convey the desired message or style.
- **Storyboard Interpretation**: Understand and follow the project's storyboard or script to ensure the video aligns with the client's vision and objectives.
- **File Management**: Organize and manage video and audio files, ensuring they are easily accessible and well-organized.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with clients, producers, directors, and other team members to understand project requirements and provide creative input.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Stay up-to-date with video editing software, tools, and techniques to produce high-quality videos efficiently.
- **Quality Control**: Review and proof videos to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or technical issues.
- **Meeting Deadlines**: Ensure that editing tasks are completed within agreed-upon timelines to meet project or client deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- **Video Editing Skills**: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- **Creativity**: Strong creative and artistic skills to enhance video content effectively.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and resolution for different platforms (e.g., social media, YouTube).
- **Attention to Detail**: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in the final product.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- **Time Management**: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- **Portfolio**: A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work and demonstrating editing skills and creativity.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Pay: ₹12,000.00 per month
