Job Description: Data Visualization Specialist (Google Looker)

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Data Visualization Development
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Google Looker.
- Translate business requirements into insightful and user-friendly visual data stories.
- Data Integration and Modeling
- Work with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of Looker with underlying data sources.
- Develop and manage LookML models to create reusable and efficient data structures.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Collaborate with business teams to identify reporting needs and align visualizations with strategic goals.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on how to effectively use dashboards and interpret insights.
- Optimization and Troubleshooting
- Continuously optimize dashboards for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data accuracy or visualization rendering.
- Quality Assurance and Documentation
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Document processes, data models, and best practices for future reference and team scalability.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data visualization, with at least 1 year using Google Looker.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in LookML and Looker’s visualization features.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and transformation.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with other visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Understanding of advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
