Python Developer with strong experience in Google Looker Studio (Data Studio) and Google BigQuery to design, develop, and maintain data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating datasets, automating workflows, optimizing data pipelines, and building insightful dashboards for business intelligence and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Google BigQuery.
  • Design and implement custom connectors and APIs to integrate third-party data sources with BigQuery and Looker Studio.
  • Build, customize, and optimize Looker Studio dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance for large-scale datasets in BigQuery.
  • Automate data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes using Python scripts.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and product teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all reporting and analytical layers.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation for data models, pipelines, and dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Any degree
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Strong proficiency in Google BigQuery – including SQL scripting, query optimization, and dataset management.
  • Proven experience with Google Looker Studio (Data Studio) – building and publishing interactive dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Experience working with APIs, REST services, and data integration tools.
  • Understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and cloud-based analytics workflows.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LookML or Looker API.
  • Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with Airflow, dbt, or other data orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
