**Summary/ Objective**:
At Gaiagen, we manufacture products that are biological alternatives to chemicals, in the field of pest management. We are looking for an Accounts Executive for E-commerce will be responsible for managing the
financial aspects of the company’s online sales channels. This includes ensuring accurate bookkeeping, handling payments, processing refunds, reconciling sales data with financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. The role demands a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, financial software, and the ability to handle high transaction volumes.

**Required Qualification**:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
2. Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

**Skills and Attributes**:
1. Strong understanding of e-commerce accounting practices and tax regulations.
2. Knowledge of various accounting software.
3. Attention to detail and ability to handle high transaction volumes.

Accounts Receivable & Payable:

- Monitor collections received from various e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Flipkart, Bighaat, etc.).
- Handle invoices, credit memos, and refund transactions.
- Track and verify vendor payments, commissions, and other e-commerce-related expenses.
Reconciliation:

- Reconcile online sales with collections and internal financial records.
- Monitor payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and ensure timely settlement.
- Ensure all transactions are correctly entered into accounting software, after considering all deductions like commission/shipping charges/tds/tcs/etc and tallying with the purchase invoices received from e commerce operators.
- Sales Analysis & Reporting:

- Prepare regular financial reports on e-commerce sales performance, refunds, and returns.
- Analyse trends and provide insights to improve financial efficiency.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and revenue reporting.
- Inventory & Cost Management:

- Assist in managing cost structures, pricing strategies, and profit margins for online products.
- Work closely with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels and financial recording.
Compliance:

- Ensure that all e-commerce financial transactions are compliant with local and international financial regulations.
- Manage tax-related documentation, including GST, TCS, TDS and other applicable e-commerce taxes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Collaboration:

- Work closely with the e-commerce, marketing, and logistics teams to manage discounts, promotions, and refunds.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and accurate payments.
