The role will play an active part in the ongoing development and success of the Services PMO. Principally responsible for supporting the team throughout the project lifecycle, initially focusing on milestone & project closure. The role will work largely within OpenAir, Outlook and SharePoint, ensuring that all necessary project documentation is in place, that project milestones are triggered on time, forecasted correctly and that projects are closed out efficiently. The role will work across Services supporting a high volume of projects and will manage a busy diary setting up all project reviews.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Drive the Project Milestones Initiative, ensuring forecasted dates are maintained and milestones triggered on time.- For each closing opportunity or milestone, work with Order Management to ensure all contractually required documentation is in place.- Ensure all project documentation is stored in the agreed central location.- Manage the Project Stage Review diary, scheduling all sessions in Outlook and ensuring all attendees have the relevant preparatory information ahead of the sessions.- Working with multiple teams across multiple geographies, this role will utilize strong communication skills to resolve issues, offer an excellent service and gain the confidence of the team.
Experience and Education:
- University degree in related field or equivalent experience.- 1+ years of hands-on experience in related field- Experienced user of OpenAir, SharePoint, Outlook and Excel. MS Office toolset (Word, and PowerPoint)- Proven experience in a support role- Demonstrated capability for attention to detail,- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
