Project Estimator/contract Administrator

**Duties & Responsibilities**
Project Estimating
- Quantity takeoff for construction projects using software and manual takeoff methods.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities and Budget using estimation software.
- Prepare scope of work to obtain quotation by analyzing the building specification and drawings.
- Obtain quotations and check against the scope of work and prepare comparison table
- Issue purchase orders
- Prepare drill box to identify the documents issues.
- Documents drill box meeting actions and ensure changes and improvement implemented.
- Monitor project budget vs actual, submit monthly report to management
- Analysis of project variance and provide cost management solution.
Contract Administration
- Involve with entire contract process for both pre-construction & onsite stage
- Conduct project briefing with Estimating manager.
- Subcontractor management including compiling subcontractor agreements, scope of works, tender packages, negotiating contract prices and conditions, reviewing contractor quotes and preparing final contract documents.
- Manage subcontractor progress claims.
- Negotiate the procurement and ordering of materials
- Assisting with the administration of RFI’s, EOT’s, variations, PC/PI and meeting minutes
- Analysis of project variance and provide cost management solution.
- Working closely with site supervisors to adhere to project programs, deadlines, and budgets
- Prepare subcontract agreement and purchase orders for materials and labour requirement.
Westurban Sub-Contractor management
- Maintain a sub-contractor register including details of manpower, past experience, registration information, SWMS, insurance etc
- Handling the negotiation of rate, payment information with sub-contractors and manage the data build price list.
- Manage the sub-contractor allocation for projects based on best interest to Westurban.
- Continuous improvement to the sub-contractors base to address the project needs.
Technical Support
- Preconstruction support
- Analysis the structural drawings and find out the shortcoming and take the necessary action to update the documents.
- Compare the tender drawings and construction drawings and identify the changes and prepare the cost variations.
- Prepare supporting documents to site staff for construction including shop drawings and continuous input site staff for site management.
- Conduct project briefing, with Estimating manager.
Continuous Improvement
- Development construction support documentation/ Guidelines
- Negotiate with suppliers and sub-contractor and finalize the most favorable solution for Westurban
- Attend and participate in management meeting, initiate and implement improvements
- Assist with marketing and communication to promote company projects and build strong market reputation and branding
- Work with various teams on Westurban award projects to improve project finishes, control construction cost and obtain suppliers and subcontractors’ support
- Participate in development of company policies:
- Purchasing and Estimating policy and procedure
- Project Management methodology
- OH&S Documentation
- Quality Management System
- Project Specification
**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 3-year construction estimating and coordination experience in construction industry
- Proficient in Databuild and project management software
- Knowledge of BCA & R-Codes, OHS and building regulation
- Strong team player and positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge in completing construction documentation and tender documentation.
- A demonstrated ability to meet timeframes.

- Package is made up as follows: Base salary depends on experience.
**Salary**: ₹250,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
