
Front Office Trainee

As a Front Office Trainee, you will be an integral part of our hotel's guest services team, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of front office operations. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to develop your skills in customer service, communication, and organizational abilities within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Guest Reception and Check-in**:
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and ensure a smooth check-in process.
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
- **Reservation Management**:
- Assist in managing reservations, including booking, cancellations, and modifications.
- Ensure accuracy of guest information and reservation details in the system.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill special requests and preferences.
- **Cash Handling and Billing**:
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing accurately and securely.
- Maintain proper cash handling procedures and reconcile transactions at the end of shift.
- Provide guests with receipts and assist with any billing inquiries or discrepancies.
- **Telephone and Communication**:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Take messages accurately and relay them promptly to the intended recipient.
- **Front Office Administration**:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
- **Problem Resolution and Guest Satisfaction**:
- Address guest complaints or issues promptly and escalate as necessary to ensure resolution.
- Strive to exceed guest expectations by providing personalized service and anticipating their needs.
- Solicit feedback from guests to continually improve service quality and guest satisfaction.
- **Training and Development**:
- Participate actively in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Learn and adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Seek opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality industry.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel management systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
